Moving things around can be a handy trick for keeping your site fresh, especially when you don’t have enough new content or you are pressed for time. Some tips:

For example: If you keep a list of student interviews archived on an interview page and you are featuring news on your homepage about something referenced in one of those interviews, plug in a few sentences and a photo right on the home page with a link back to the older interview.

Here’s an example of how the tangential information can be removed from a block of text and moved off into a sidebar:

The important info can be extracted from this wordy block of text above and shortened. The Husky card info can be placed in a sidebar.

Use Your Husky Card
Northeastern's Dining Services offers convenience and flexibility, and provides a variety of food choices and meal plans. Resident dining is offered at two primary locations: Levine Marketplace (in Stetson East) and Stetson West. It’s welcome virtually everywhere around campus, including:
  • Campus coffee cafes
  • Bookstore
  • Curry Student Center
  • Cyber Cafe
