Planning Your Site
Where were you when your department’s Web site was planned and designed? If you were not in on the meetings, don’t fret. Many Web writers (also called content contributors) are not involved in the initial Web site development discussions. However, to update and maintain a Web site’s content effectively, you need to know your audience, understand the goals for the site, and anticipate your audience’s needs.
